LeGrand Headwaters Ranch

This Texas big bodied 14 point White tailed deer was killed at the LeGrand Headwaters Ranch in the north pastures on the fourth outing.  Corey Simoneaux of Louisiana harvested this 5 1/2 year old 137BC Gross buck.  This buck had a triple right brow tine and a double brow tine on the left.  He had been rutting hard as he had not been seen for a couple of days.   This white tail buck came out before dawn and was eating for 20 minutes before his big body could be identified as a mature buck.  Corey took a great shot, waited a few minutes, racked another shell, and harvested a doe that did not run off from the first shot.
